printed materials: all levels
Printed materials still have a place in your company's marketing, but in cost and climate conscious times, a little bit of forethought goes a long way.
- No Nonsense would always recommend a (double-sided) printed business card - it's a tangible reminder of having met that person and company. But you can email a .vcf file or attach it to outgoing mail too with a much better chance of getting into your contact's online contact list.
- Literature trees containing a company overview, product/service descriptions, client case studies and so on also have their place - particularly in sales situations. But there's no reason they can't appear as downloads from your website for people to help themselves. There's no need to stick to even numbers of pages in that case either - use only the space you need.
- Prospecting. Compared to online materials, print has a price. You can use that to good effect in prospecting campaigns because a gorgeous or unusual piece of print says you value that person - and gets their attention ready for follow-up.
- Be canny with stationery and business paperwork. The quality of colour printers can release you from printing letterhead etc - particularly for small quantities. Many companies are happy to accept quotes, invoices and remittances as PDFs - saving money (and the planet).
No Nonsense can help to plan the printed materials your company needs (or doesn't need) to suit your budget and the needs of your company's sales and marketing efforts. Working with recommended designers and printers in the No Nonsense Network means a great result - and no nonsense.
